All waterproofing is done to AS 3740, the Australian Standard for wet areas, and flood-tested before tiling begins. You'll receive the certificate at handover.

What goes into a bathroom that lasts
The most important parts of a bathroom renovation are the ones you don’t see once the tiles are on. Here’s how we make sure yours is done right.
Proper waterproofing
We never cut corners on waterproofing. It's the part that protects your home from water damage, and every job we do is certified.
Floors that drain properly
Shower floors are set with the correct fall so water drains where it should and doesn't sit in the corners.
Tiles planned before they go on
We plan the tile layout before laying a single tile, so you get clean lines and no awkward cuts at the edges.
Trades in the right order
We schedule every trade in the correct sequence, so nothing is rushed and nothing is built over unfinished work.

Five simple steps from the first measure to the day you get your new bathroom. You’ll always know what’s happening next and what it costs.

On-site measure
We come out, measure the room, check what's behind the walls and under the floor, and talk through what you want from your new bathroom and the budget you have in mind.
- 02
Design and selections
You'll receive a layout drawing, or a full 3D render if you'd like one, and help choosing your tiles, stone, tapware and joinery. Everything is chosen and priced before anything is ordered.

Your written quote
Everything is written down and priced, so you know exactly what's included before you commit.
- 04
Build
Our team handles demolition, plumbing and electrical rough-in, waterproofing, tiling and fit-off in the right order, with our own carpenters doing the framing and joinery. You'll get a schedule with dates so you know when each stage is happening.
- 05
Handover
We water-test the bathroom, hand over your waterproofing certificate, walk you through the finished room and check every detail before we leave.

Your bathroom renovation questions, answered
Answers to the questions we get asked most about bathroom renovations on the Gold Coast.
We come to the house, measure the room properly, look at where the drainage and the electrical already run, and talk through what you want. That visit is what a real quote is built from, and it costs you nothing whether you go ahead or not.
The carpentry and the build are our own team. The licensed trades that have to be licensed, plumbing, electrical and waterproofing, are people we use on every job rather than whoever is free that week, and the same person runs your site from start to finish.
Before anything is ordered and before a wall comes off. Choosing early is what keeps a renovation on program, because the long lead items are almost always the tiles and the tapware rather than the labour.
Small things are usually fine. Anything that moves plumbing or changes the tiling is priced as a variation in writing before we do it, so it never turns up as a surprise on the final invoice. It is much cheaper to change your mind on the drawing.
Yes, every day, and the path from the front door to the bathroom is protected before the first tool comes in. It is your house for the whole job, not a site.
